Little Changes Add up To Big Gas Savings

Nobody wants to waste money-especially on gas. Gas is not cheap. So, how can you stretch your gas budget and get better fuel economy? By doing a few simple things. Keep up on your oil changes and keep your tires properly inflated. If your vehicle doesn't have to work as hard, then it won't consume as much gas. Use your cruise control when you are driving on the highway-it can save you a lot of gas-especially if you are going on a long trip. You can get better gas mileage by not letting your vehicle idle for long periods of time and by travelling light if you can help it. Also avoid hauling a bunch of extra weight if you can help it and don't haul bike racks or cargo containers on the outside of your vehicle if you don't need to. All of these little changes make a difference.
